McDonald’s South Africa is offering a cheaper breakfast option through its National Breakfast Day promotion. Customers who buy a selected small drink for R10 will receive a free Egg McMuffin.
The company says the promotion is part of its effort to celebrate breakfast and bring customers into its restaurants early in the morning.
The offer opens first to customers who have downloaded and registered on the MyM App. These customers get early access on 16 and 17 March 2026. The offer can be redeemed once per day during the early access period.
McDonald’s says customers who have not yet downloaded the MyM App can do so to access the offer before the national launch.
The nationwide promotion opens to all customers on Wednesday, 18 March 2026. People across South Africa will be able to claim the deal at participating McDonald’s restaurants and through Drive Thru.
The company says the promotion will only run while stocks last. Customers are encouraged to arrive early as breakfast items may sell out quickly.
McDonald’s says its breakfast meals are prepared fresh each morning using locally sourced ingredients. The company also says its coffee range is designed to pair with its breakfast meals.
The promotion will be available across all provinces.
