Master KG: They don’t call him ‘Master’ for nothing

After sitting on the Mzansi top music charts for three months straight, Master KG’s song “Dali Nguwe” has proven that he’s really a master of music.

The recent music video for the song also climbed to the number one spot on YouTube’s Trending Music Charts in less than 48 hours since its release.

The video for the song which features Nkosazana Daughter, Obeey Amor and Basetsana who takes the song to another level with her deep voice, was released on Friday 18 March following massive airplay during the festive season.

Released under Master KG’s Wanitwa Mos recording label and directed by Dubelicious Pictures, the music video for the song which was number one on iTunes Top 100 charts for more than two months before settling on number five, has reached over 400,000 views in just two days since it premiered on YouTube – bringing its popularity status to the top again.

The 26-year-old whose real name is Kgaogelo Moagi, who has previously released hit songs like “Skeleton Move” featuring Zanda Zakuza and the international lockdown anthem “Jerusalem” featuring Nomcebo Zikode, has been constant with the sound of his music which is largely influenced by Limpopo’s dance music scene.

Meanwhile, “Jerusalem” has reached over 485 million views and is still growing, since its music video premier on 13 December 2019, on YouTube.
