South African sports presenter Melissa Reddy is said to be in a relationship with footballer Sadio Mané.
Reddy joined Sky Sports as a senior presenter in 2022 and has enjoyed major success ever since.
Now she is said to have been successful outside of the workplace as well, reportedly being in a relationship with the Senegalese star since last November.
The pair are said to have hit it off after Reddy interviewed Mané when he was still a Liverpool player, the Irish Sun reported.
While Mané is yet to confirm or deny the relationship, he does have a thing for South African women.
The striker was previously linked to SuperSport presenter Carol Tshabalala.
Reddy became the first female football analyst to feature on SuperSport’s Backpages and Monday Night Football.
However, getting there was no easy task.
“Trying to enter that realm as a young foreign female of colour was challenging for a variety of reasons, not least because it is not what people are used to,” she told Gsport.com during a recent interview.
“I had to work so much harder, take so many more losses and show the most persistence and focus possible. I had to prove myself over again every day, but every day also felt like a new opportunity.”
If the pair are truly dating, it would be one powerful super couple, as Mané was also named African Footballer of the Year in 2022 after winning the Africa Cup of Nations with Senegal.
