The unofficial queen of Venda house music, Makhadzi, has treated herself to a new home after building three houses for her father, mother and grandmother.

The artist shared her latest achievement following the success of “Ghanama” featuring Prince Benza, which is currently sitting at over 3 million views on YouTube.

Makhadzi, whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, is from Ha-Masia in Limpopo. She posted the “first picture” of her new home on social media on Friday.

“I am 25 years and I managed to build four houses – congratulations to myself,” Makhadzi wrote on Twitter.

But despite her sharing the picture of her standing inside the house, many social media users still shared a picture of the outside of a house congratulating Makhadz.

The singer responded by clearing up the confusion, saying that the picture was of a house which did not belong to her, and she had no idea where people had got it from.

The star, who began her career singing at taxi ranks at the age of 12, will release a second studio album on 3 September 2021.

Makhadzi will follow the meteoric success of her debut album Kokovha, meaning crawl, which started off at number one on iTunes in October last year.

In August 2021, Kokhovha was named most streamed album by a female on Apple Music.
