Former Teargas member Ma-E will release a brand-new project in September.
Ma-E, who likes to refer to himself as “EzeeDoesIt”, announced the news on his social media account this week, saying the EP, which is titled Namanje & Forever, is coming out very soon.
He then shared the news as a screenshot from his Facebook account on Twitter, with the caption “End of September”.
The artist, who last released a full project in 2018, titled Township Councillor with 15 tracks, also made it clear to artists who still want to be featured on the new project that it has already been filed with his recording label.
“The project is done and submitted already,” said Ma-E, responding to a fan who wanted to send him beats to use on the project on Tuesday, 16 August.
The artist, who released his first solo album 212 in 2017 under his recording label GhandaGhanda Productions, is expected to have features from artists who are signed under K.O’s new label Skhanda World on the new project.
Loki, Roii, Mr X, Just Bheki and K.O, who was also part of Teargas, released a successful Skhanda World collaborative album in 2021 with Ma-E titled Welcome to the Planet with 11 songs, including singles like “Homeground” and “Abalaleli”.
Meanwhile, K.O has confirmed that amapiano artist YoungStunna and Durban rapper Blxckie will feature on his up and coming album Skhanda Republic 3, famously known as SR3, which is also expected to drop during the spring season.
