Masechaba Mposwa fell in love with her future husband after he sang to her by chance two years before they got married.
Masechaba fell for her new husband, Ntethelelo “Ntethe” Mposwa when she first heard him sing in 2022.
The couple, who kept their romance quiet at first, recently got married in a private ceremony.
“I was blown away. I have never heard a voice like his. I’d never heard anything like it. He is by far the most gifted singer I have ever experienced in my entire life, and that’s not love talking,” Masechaba told News24.
“Anyone who’s experienced him performing live will never forget that experience; it’s powerful.”
The pair started as friends before love bloomed. They now manage each other’s careers and lives.
When it comes to fights, both say being humble is key.
“One thing about our relationship with my husband is that there’s no pride; none of us have pride in that relationship because, number one, love and pride cannot coexist in a relationship.
“So when he’s wrong, he humbles himself and apologises. When I’m wrong, I humble myself and apologise. Sometimes, he apologises even when he’s not wrong,” Masechaba said.
The couple believes in celebrating their love daily through respect and appreciation rather than just on special days.
“We celebrate our love every day by appreciating each other consistently and respecting each other every day,” Ntethe said.
