- The Lion King composer has a long history of breakups, including several marriages and high-profile engagements with women in the public eye.
The romance between Grammy-winning producer Lebohang “Lebo M” Morake and Malefu “Mel” Ntsala has ended in heartbreak – again.
The couple got back together earlier this year, and in June Morake proposed on a luxury yacht in Dubai. He shared the moment on Instagram, but the post has since been deleted.
This was not the first time the two were engaged. Their first engagement ended in 2019 when Ntsala said they were “tired of each other.”
Morake, best known for composing music for The Lion King, has had a long and public history of relationships.
He has been married to Viveca Gipson, Nandi Ndlovu, and Angela Ngani-Casara, the latter twice. In 2022, he married Pretty Samuels, but they divorced last year after a public fallout.
He was also once engaged to actress Zoe Mthiyane.
The latest engagement to Ntsala came only months after his divorce from Samuels. But just like before, the relationship has ended with no wedding in sight.
