Sihle Sithole, professionally known as “Blxckie”, from Sydenham Heights in Durban, has released his first single since his successful debut studio album B4NOW (Before Now) of May 2021.
The song “Kwenzekile” (“It’s done”), which is like a prayer with a slow tempo, was released on Thursday on all music hosting platforms. It features Madumane who mostly does amapiano and rapper Chang Cello.
“”Kwenzekile” feels like everything will be alright,” commented one Twitter user after listening to the song.
Along with this first single to drop outside of his album – which has hits like “YeX4” featuring Nasty C. and the birthday song “Sika”- Blxckie has been busy working on songs by other artists.
He admitted on MacG’s Podcast and Chill that he is a hard worker who records new songs every day.
His recent work includes two songs which had their visual premier on YouTube during the past two weeks. One is by Yanga Chief featuring 25K titled “Ntoni Na” and another one titled “When I’m Dead” by Die Mondez featuring Flvme. In both, Blxckie goes hard with his pop auto-tuned verses.
Meanwhile his music video for “YeX4”, released in June 2021, has just reached over 900 thousand views on YouTube.
