The Real Housewives of Durban star Nonkanyiso Conco, who is known as LaConco, has announced she will undergo a tummy tuck for Valentine’s Day.
LaConco shared the news with her followers in a video posted on Instagram. She said the surgery, which is called an abdominoplasty, is a Valentine’s Day gift to herself. She described it as a personal reward and an act of self-love.
“I am a woman who works out at least five times a week. I fight a lot on this one because I have gifted myself for Valentine’s a tummy tuck,” she said.
“This is a gift from me to me. Ladies, let’s love ourselves,” she said.
As part of her pre-surgery preparations, LaConco said she has been doing facials and waxing. She has also been maintaining her workout routine. She also mentioned steaming as part of her wellness routine.
The reality star said the healing journey would take time after the surgery.
This will be the second cosmetic procedure for the reality star. In 2022, she underwent a 360-degree liposuction procedure. That procedure removed stubborn fat from her abdomen, waist and back in a single session.
Reflecting on that experience, LaConco said she realised during her recovery that removing excess skin would eventually be necessary for her.
“After my 360 lipo in 2022, I knew during my healing process that removing the excess skin would be a necessary step for me. And now, that moment is here,” she said.
