  • Gospel singer and pastor Khaya Mthethwa has married Sine after healing from his painful divorce from former Miss South Africa Ntando Kunene.
  • Khaya says he’s finally at peace after battling depression during lockdown and once believing he would never marry again.

Gospel singer and pastor Khaya Mthethwa has found love again – and this time, he says it comes with peace.

Khaya married Sine in a joyful ceremony over the weekend, starting a new chapter after years of personal struggle. Photos from the wedding were shared online, showing the couple glowing in matching white outfits. Fans flooded social media with warm wishes and blessings.

Sharing a picture of himself and Sine on Instagram, Khaya kept it simple, writing: “Sthandwa sam (my love).”

The Idols SA winner was previously married to former Miss South Africa Ntando Kunene. They split in 2019 after two years of marriage and have a son together.

In the years after the divorce, Khaya spoke openly about his mental health. On the Wisdom and Wellness podcast, he said lockdown worsened his depression and left him isolated.

“I really struggled. That has been the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through,” he said. “Thank God I didn’t have to go to church because I would have collapsed.”

He said he spent months alone, relied on medication and at one point believed he would never marry again.

Now, standing beside Sine, Khaya says his heart has healed. His new marriage, he told friends, feels like a blessing after years of pain.
