Kim Kardashian has shared an emotional goodbye after her grandmother, Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon, died at the age of 91.

Kim posted the tribute on Instagram after her mother, Kris Jenner, announced MJ’s death.

She called MJ her “best friend”, “gossip buddy” and “forever twin”.

Kim thanked her grandmother for teaching her the importance of family and always supporting her.

MJ gave Kim her first job at Shannon & Company, her children’s clothing shop in San Diego.

Kim said working at the shop helped build her strong work habits and pushed her towards becoming a businesswoman.

She also thanked MJ for believing in her through every part of her life.

Kim said she hoped MJ was now in heaven with her late husband, Papa Harry, Aunt Karen and Kim’s father, Robert Kardashian.

Before appearing on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and The Kardashians, MJ worked as a model.

She later opened Shannon & Company and became a well-known face on the family’s reality shows.
