While the rest of the world is left in the dark over the release date of Kanye West’s tenth studio album, it is not even clear whether he knows when Donda will drop.

It goes without saying that Kanye is no stranger to stirring controversy from nothing, but this time he was smooth about it. The rapper has already held two listening sessions of the album at his temporary residence, while he puts the finishing touches on it.

The first listening party was held on 22 July and the second one on 5 August, while the release date has changed from 6 to 7 to 15 August 2021 on Apple Music.

This is not the only time the release date for the album – named after his late mother – was postponed, it was first set to be released on 23 July this year.

Meanwhile, in New York City, legendary rapper Nas has released his thirteenth studio album, The Disease II.

But what drew many people’s eyes to the album is the smooth raps of Ms. Lauryn Hill who got a surprise feature in the song ‘Nobody’. The second album in the Disease chronology was released on Friday, and boasts a rich array of other featured artists, including Eminem, A Boogie wit da Hoodi and YG, to name a few.
