SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo believes Orlando Pirates are the team to beat this season.

“Personally I think Pirates are the best side. They are very good at the moment and they play beautiful football. Their work ethic is phenomenal,” he said.

SuperSport United will play Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium on Saturday at 6pm.

“This game is huge for both teams,” said coach Tembo.

The Zimbabwean feels Pirates have the best squad in the league this season and getting maximum points against them would be a big achievement for his lads.

Many fans consider tomorrow’s match as the biggest one of the fourth round of the  Premiership. Both teams are going into this match having won their matches before the Fifa International break.

“As much as Pirates are a great side it is important for us to keep collecting maximum points,” said Tembo.

“We need to stay in touch with the teams that are already leading the race. We have to prove to ourselves that we are in this league to win. Beating Pirates will prove exactly that!”

Both teams have their fair share of injuries. Pirates will miss their prolific midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch who had knee surgery this week. The Bafana Bafana international will miss five weeks of football.

United on the other hand will be without defenders Bongani Khumalo, who has a hamstring injury, and Clayton Daniels who was injured in a car accident.

In the English Premier League there are two huge matches this weekend. Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur host Pep Guadiola’s Manchester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday at 7.30pm.

Spurs, who are currently second in the log table, are in search of their first Premier League title since the 1960/61 season.

On Sunday, defending champions Liverpool host current log leaders Leicester City at Anfield at 9.15pm. Liverpool are third with 17 points and just a single point behind Leicester.
