DJ Fresh, the popular radio host who has turned podcaster, is setting the record straight about his relationship with Botswana media personality Khumo Kgwaadira.
Despite the internet’s matchmaking, DJ Fresh insists they’re just friends, not lovers.
The duo, who hosted the Botswana Musicians Union (Bomu) awards in December 2023, shared a bunch of snaps online.
But DJ Fresh was quick to clarify in a post, calling Kgwaadira a “friend for life.”
But that, not surprisingly, didn’t stop the whispers.
Musa Khawula, the controversial celeb gossip blogger, fanned the flames by sharing a picture of the pair and hinting at romance.
He claimed they were vacationing together in Durban. While both were in Durban and at the same venue, DJ Fresh claims there is no romance going on between the pair.
Annoyed, DJ Fresh hit back with a clear message: “BULLSHIT, MAN! Yes, she is a girl and yes she is my friend! Probably friends for life, too! Nothing else to see here!”
Following his split from wife of 20 years Thabiso Sikwane after a rumoured fling with actress Mapaseka Koetle (which they both denied), DJ Fresh admitted he’s on a new path, IOL reported.
“The last six weeks for me have been the most exciting, scariest time of my life,” he revealed, talking about his journey as a single person.
