Drama, intensity, a last minute winner; and once again, Arsenal are five points clear in the race for the Premier League title.

Is it all written for Mikel Arteta’s side? It may just be, because once again the Gunners came back from behind to win in the league on what was a breathtaking five-game goal rush.

The Emirates soaked it all in as the full time whistle blew as Arteta jumped for joy when Reiss Nelson got a goal deep in stoppage time to seal a 3-2 win over 19th placed Bournemouth.

It looked like the wheels were about to fall off in North London, with Tottenham Hotspur going a goal down to Wolves at Molineux and Arsenal 2-0 down at home.

The comeback sparked at the Emirates, though, courtesy of Thomas Partey and Ben White. And while Spurs were once again defeated, their rivals were victorious and reclaimed their five point advantage over Manchester City with 12 games to play.

Elsewhere, Chelsea got back to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Leeds while Aston Villa beat Crystal Palace by the same scoreline and Brighton thrashed West Ham 4-0.

Southampton face Leicester in the late game while Nottingham Forest host Everton on Sunday afternoon.

Monday night football features Brentford up against Fulham, but that is only after the main event of Liverpool versus Manchester United at Anfield in Sunday’s late game.
