- She later mocked a woman for being unmarried and bragged about her ex’s fancy bank account.
Gogo Skhotheni revealed that she paid for her own lobola because her ex-husband was broke.
The former sangoma, who now calls herself a Christian, made the claim during a live TikTok session.
“I gave him the money to pay for my lobola,” she said. “Say what you want, but that means something.”
Skhotheni, whose real name is Tumi, didn’t stop there. She went after a woman named Tebogo, telling her it’s not her fault she’s still unmarried.
“I gave birth to a boy and a girl while married,” she said. “I felt the warmth of a loving home… but yes, I’m renting now.”
She also threw shade at her ex’s lifestyle and wealth while she was pregnant.
“It’s not my fault you don’t have an FNB Private Wealth account,” she said. “Don’t make your problems mine.”
The comments quickly got a reaction online. Some people felt she had gone too far.
“She’ll belittle that man every chance she gets,” one user posted on X.
Others defended her and said it was her personal business.
“I see nothing wrong,” another user posted. “It’s her life.”
Skhotheni has caused drama before. She recently cancelled a large prayer session she had planned.
She said too many people had signed up, and she needed time to pray and fast properly.
“I want the Holy Spirit to lead me,” she said. “I need time to pray and fast properly before I pray for so many people.”
