- The new HyperDev Version 1 platform, launched in March, uses artificial intelligence to help people build websites, apps and software.
- HyperDev’s chief technical officer Piotr Sobolewski and chairman Riaz Moola have both studied artificial intelligence at the University of Cambridge.
HyperDev launched its Version 1 artificial intelligence (AI) coding platform in March, targeting entrepreneurs, developers and businesses.
The tool helps users create websites, apps and other software. It generates code and helps fix problems that come up during development.
Many entrepreneurs and aspiring developers struggle to turn ideas into working software. HyperDev hopes to help change this.
The company was built by a team with experience at major technology companies. Chief technical officer Piotr Sobolewski previously worked at OpenAI on ChatGPT. Chairman Riaz Moola worked at Google on language models used in search. Both Sobolewski and Moola studied AI at the University of Cambridge.
The platform includes a feature called Guided Mode. It takes users through the building process step by step.
Sobolewski said many people struggle to finish their projects using current tools.
“We’re building AI that helps people use AI. While the first generation of AI app builders removed some barriers, many people still get stuck,” he said.
HyperDev says the system can detect broken code and suggest fixes. It also uses rules that guide how software is generated.
Moola said the project builds on his work training developers through HyperionDev.
“After more than a decade helping thousands of developers enter the industry, I am pleased to support the HyperDev team,” he said.
The company says human developers can also step in if users need extra help. HyperDev is inviting developers, businesses and investors to join the platform.
