Springboks captain Siya Kolisi and Dutch-Nigerian content creator Rachel John are giving their followers a close look at their New York City getaway.
The 34-year-old double Rugby World Cup-winning captain and the 25-year-old John have been sharing moments from the trip on social media.
One highlight saw Kolisi face his fear of heights at the Empire State Building. He captioned an Instagram clip: “I don’t know what’s going on, but yeah, the things we do for social media. Any who, we are here now… Fear or no fear siyanyuka e (we are going up).”
John also posted TikTok vlogs from the top of the famous skyscraper. In one clip, she wrote, “He said he knew a spot,” hinting at Kolisi’s role as tour guide.
But it was another of John’s videos that set social media alight. Eagle-eyed fans spotted what appeared to be a small diamond ring on her engagement finger. Comments flooded in fast. “She has a ring on her engagement finger,” one user wrote, while others called for a vlog series “from her engagement to her wedding.”
The pair also attended Broadway musical *Hell’s Kitchen*, which features music and lyrics by Alicia Keys. Kolisi met the 16-time Grammy winner backstage. Keys later thanked Kolisi on Instagram for the “unforgettable memory.”
Neither Kolisi nor John has confirmed any engagement.
Their romance reportedly began at the ATP Finals in Italy in late 2025. The couple later celebrated a birthday in Jeffreys Bay and travelled to Victoria Falls in January 2026. John returned to Amsterdam for kickboxing commitments before the pair appeared together again.
