South African hip-hop star Emtee broke down in tears during an Instagram Live session, saying about R700,000 in royalties from his Logan album was paid to a distributor but never reached him.

The rapper said the money dates back to around 2022.

“I just found out that my royalties for the Logan album never came through… R700K just gone,” he said.

Clips of the session spread quickly across social media. Fans responded with messages of support and concern.

Emtee also spoke about his personal life. He said a restraining order from his ex-wife has stopped him from seeing his children. He described this as very painful.

The rapper is known for songs like “Roll Up” and runs Hustla Music Group. He has faced challenges in the music industry before.
