Every family knows this problem: the difficult uncle who causes trouble.
When news presenter Masechaba Ndlovu was having her traditional wedding to music producer Ntethelelo Faku Mposwa, it nearly got ruined by this kind of uncle.
A drunk relative tried to stop the lovebirds’ nuptials in Krugersdorp earlier this month.
After power cuts delayed the ceremony, a drunk man stumbled in and demanded the wedding stop.
“Nobody knew who he was,” a guest told ZiMoja. It was later revealed he was “a drunk uncle” from the groom’s family who “had too much to drink.”
This is Ndlovu’s third marriage. Speaking about meeting Mposwa in 2022, she said: “We invited God into our relationship, and He’s been our rock ever since.
“There have been challenges along the way, but through prayer and loving each other more, giving love to one another every day, we’ve managed to go to war and drag each other out alive.”
The couple did not comment on the wedding drama.
