South Africa’s latest power couple – DJ Zinhle and Bongani Mohosana of music group Black Motion – have announced they are expecting their first child.
The “My Name Is” hit maker DJ Zinhle is pregnant with her second born.
The Dannhauser-based star had just announced her new artificial hair brand, My Name Is – named after her song which was released in 2012 with Busiswa.
Now she shared not one but two exciting pieces of news with her fans. The first was the announcement of her pregnancy with her new partner Bongani Mohosana, who is a DJ and music producer.
Bongani is known in the entertainment industry as Murdah Bongz from the house music duo Black Motion.
The 33-year-old father from Johannesburg leads a successful DJing career with percussionist Thabo “Smol” Mabogwane.
“Thank you for your love and blessings. Bongani and I are so happy. God bless you all. I can’t drink any @BoulevardRose right now,” wrote DJ Zinhle on the caption of her picture holding her visibly pregnant tummy.
Then she dropped the second bombshell:
“Allow me to introduce my very own show coming to @BET_Africa channel 129 this September!” wrote Zinhle on Twitter.
“I know this is unexpected but I’m so excited to share this part of my life with you all!” said DJ Zinhle, before BET Africa made the news official an hour later on Monday.
The new reality TV show with DJ Zinhle, ironically named ‘Unexpected’, is expected to air on 18 September at 19:30.
