Two South African influencers and media personalities, Innocentia “Inno” Morolong and Ashleigh Ogle, are set to duke it out in a boxing match.
The event, in collaboration with the Mandela Foundation and the International Boxing Association, will be held at the International Convention Centre in Durban from 15 April to 21 April.
Tumelo Ramaphosa, President Cyril Ramaphosa’s son, will also be organising the event.
Ashleigh is the former girlfriend of rapper DA L.E.S and has also been rumoured to have dated former Springbok Elton Jantjies.
In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Inno said she is confident she will win.
“I agreed to the match because I have been keeping a low profile and decided to stop hosting. I found this interesting and I said yes to the match,” Inno said.
“There are many people I wouldn’t mind fighting. I mean some people are so disrespectful. But for now, let’s keep this a mystery.”
Inno said she would come prepared.
“I will be training for this. I’m not afraid. Instead, I’m excited. I’m fighting for many reasons. People are disrespectful and the money is the cherry on top,” she said.
“I’m not a loser. If I win it’s going to mean a lot to me. My hard work will have paid off. My dignity will be regained and I’m going to enjoy the money. April is my birthday month, I have to enjoy and celebrate life.”
