COLOMBIAN POLICE SEIZE COKE-IN-NUTS

Arthur Greene

Police in Colombia have seized 20,000 coconuts filled with liquid cocaine.

The anti-drug unit stopped the drug-stuffed coconut shells from leaving the city of Cartagena in a shipment bound for Italy.

Upon inspection, they found that the tropical fruit had been emptied of milk and injected with liquid cocaine.

The coconuts have been sent to a laboratory for further inspection, as police work round the clock to crack the case.
