In February, Cassper Nyovest promised Mzansi publicly he would only appear on MacG’s Podcast and Chill under one condition: if he loses the boxing fight against NaakmusiQ.
“If I lose the fight with Naak I will go on MacG’s podcast,” Cassper had tweeted in February 2022.
It’s now been 10 days since the 31-year-old rapper from Mahikeng in the North West lost the fight against fellow musician NaakmusiQ on 10 April and people are starting to ask questions.
Presenters MacGyver Mukwevho (famously known as MacG) and Solomzi “Sol” Phenduka raised the question on last Monday’s pod – and now the fans are asking questions too.
“You promised us that you’ll be on Podcast if you lose…that was a public promise,” posted a Twitter user called Timothy.
“Yeah but I didn’t lose and right now I’m with another country !!!! How is it in South Africa ???” said Cassper, sharing Timothy’s post on Monday.
Meanwhile, Cassper is not in the gym or in the studio making music. The rapper is instead in Cape Town for a vacation trying to get his “mkhaba”, after months of training for the fight he eventually lost.
“Okay enough about the fight for now. Time to enjoy a lil mini holiday in Cape Town. Maybe we can shaya a lil content and get my Mkhaba back? I really wanna go jet skiing tomorrow,” tweeted Cassper on Monday.
