By Rorisang Modiba

DJ Black Coffee has announced a concert at The Ostrich in Cape Town, running from 28 February to 2 March, with the main show set for 1 March.

The Danish group WhoMadeWho, known for their thrilling live performances, will also be performing at the event.

More acts are expected to be announced later.

Black Coffee shared the news on social media, writing, “The merging of the minds as we bring a taste of the globe to Cape Town. Excited to welcome @whomadewhoofficial home and lots of other surprises along the way for our very first @blackcoffeeweekender … Sign up for pre-sale access.”

In August, Black Coffee met actor Will Smith in Ibiza and shared the moment on Instagram. Smith had been enjoying the Ibiza music scene and working on new music, prompting speculation about a possible collaboration.

During the European summer, Black Coffee toured cities like Ibiza, Barcelona, and Mykonos, and has worked with major stars such as Drake, David Guetta, and Usher.

After taking a short break earlier this year following a plane accident in South America, he returned to performing, including shows at Hi Ibiza.
