A man in Japan has fulfilled his lifelong dream of living as a dog, after he paid R250,000 for an ultra-realistic dog costume.
Videos of Toko-san dressed as a border collie have gone viral on TikTok, as he has gained a following from fans who want to follow his new journey as a dog.
Looking remarkably like an actual collie, Toko-san can be seen rolling over, sniffing around and lying down in front of a sign which reads, “Nice to meet you.”
Another sign reads, “I became a rough collie because I wanted to be an animal.”
Toko-san paid costume company Zeppet to make the custom outfit, which set him back two-million Yen.
Alongside photos of himself in the costume, Toko-san wrote, “I made it a Collie because it looks real when I put it on.
“I thought that a big animal close to my size would be good – considering that it would be a realistic model, so I decided to make it a dog.”
Unfortunately, all signs suggest that unlike real collies, Toko-san is still useless at herding sheep, but at least he’ll never be a melon-collie again.
