Mzansi musician and media personality Anele Zondo is stepping into the spotlight with her very own reality show.
Anele Zondo: The Glow Up will hit TV screens on 5 April and air every Saturday at 8pm on SABC1.
The 13-part show takes a deep dive into Anele’s life — from her rising music career and business hustle to the highs and lows of becoming a new mum.
Set in the heart of Johannesburg, the show gives fans an inside look at how Anele balances fame, family and personal growth.
Viewers will see her behind the scenes as she juggles motherhood, relationships and her dreams.
Anele says it’s the most honest she’s ever been on screen.
“People usually see the final, polished version of me, but this show will reveal what it takes to be in my shoes. It’s about my dreams, the hard work behind them, and the people who support me. It’s my journey — as I glow through it,” she said.
The producers describe the show as a story of determination, success and resilience.
SABC1’s channel head Ofentse Thinane said The Glow Up follows in the footsteps of hit reality shows like Zahara in 2023 and Vusi Nova — Unprovoked in 2024.
He said the show gives audiences a chance to connect with celebrities in a more personal way.
