Abathembu Queen says there is ‘no freedom’ in the EFF

  • Abathembu Queen Nolubabalo has left the EFF for the MK party and said her new party offers more freedom.
  • The move could influence politics in the Eastern Cape where the Abathembu people have major support.

The AbaThembu Queen Nolubabalo is the latest former EFF MP to jump ship and join the uMkhonto weSizwe party.

Queen Nolubabalo has nothing good to say about her former political home, except to note that her new party has “more democracy” than the EFF.

Speaking to Scrolla.Africa, Queen Nolubabalo (royal name Queen Khazeka) said she left the EFF because “there was no freedom there” and expressed doubts about the party’s ability to govern effectively.

While praising EFF leader Julius Malema and calling the party’s policies “the oxygen of true liberation,” she is now campaigning for MK in the Eastern Cape, where the AbaThembu people wield significant political influence.

“Thank you for your unwavering dedication and relentless spirit in the recent elections. Despite the challenges, we stood strong and proved that the EFF is a force to be reckoned with. Our journey is far from over,” she said.

“The fight for true liberation continues. It is crucial now more than ever to educate our fellow citizens about policies and the oppressive measures still present in our country. We must help our people understand what it means to live in a truly liberated nation.”

Queen Nolubabalo joined the EFF shortly before the May 29 elections.
