As many as four teams in the DStv Premiership will be staring relegation in the face at the end of the season next month.
Only seven points separate Maritzburg United, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, Chippa United and Black Leopards.
The battle for survival continues on Tuesday when Chippa host Baroka FC in Gqeberha at 3pm.
The Chilli Boys will head into the match in good spirits after beating GladAfrica Championship outfit Pretoria Callies on Saturday.
Baroka will also be in a good mood against Chippa after they got a point at home against Kaizer Chiefs on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Tshakhuma will take on Martizburg at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane at 5pm. Only a single point separates them.
After their penalty shootout glory against Mamelodi Sundowns on Sunday, Tshakhuma will be looking to continue with their good performance. They beat TS Galaxy 2-0 in their last league outing.
Maritzburg lost 2-0 to Orlando Pirates on Sunday and another loss on Tuesday could see them in all sorts of trouble.
Leopards need some kind of miracle on Wednesday when they host Stellenbosch at Thohoyandou Stadium. They will be looking for their first win in four matches and they can’t afford many more defeats.
Meanwhile, the PSL confirmed on Monday that Free State Stadium will host the Nedbank Cup final between Tshakhuma and Chippa on 8 May.
