Premier Soccer League (PSL) clubs are busy conducting player transfer business ahead of the 2024/25 season. The teams are in the market, shopping for players, including free agents released by their rivals.
Scrolla.Africa takes a look at some of the players who are unattached and looking for new homes.
Bongani Zungu
The experienced midfielder recently parted ways with Mamelodi Sundowns, who opted against triggering a one-year extension option in his contract. Zungu is now being strongly linked with Kaizer Chiefs and flared up the rumours when he posted a video while arriving in Turkey on Sunday. Amakhosi are camping in Istanbul.
Sifiso Hlanti
The 34-year-old still has it in him and was surprisingly offloaded by Amakhosi despite being a regular last season.
Kermit Erasmus
Erasmus struggled for game time at Pirates last term and was eventually offloaded. He complained about his departure, expressing his feelings that he was disrespected. He is now being linked with a move back to Cape Town City.
Itumeleng Khune
The veteran goalkeeper had his Chiefs contract expire at the end of June and the Soweto giants did not offer him a new deal. He is now a free agent contemplating his future, and this is a player who has never played for any other club in his professional career.
Keagan Dolly
Another player who was surprisingly offloaded by Amakhosi, Dolly finds himself without a club amid transfer rumours suggesting SuperSport United could be his next home. After arriving at Chiefs in 2021 from France, Dolly struggled to find regular football last term mostly due to injuries.
Richard Ofori
The Ghana international goalkeeper endured a difficult time in the last two seasons at Orlando Pirates and it was not a shocker when the Soweto giants offloaded him.
