South African music trendsetter and producer Mr JazziQ, real name Tumelo Manyoni, has offered to take a lie detector test after being accused of sexual harassment by YFM freelance content producer Ngcebo Mcobothi.
Mcobothi claimed that before a scheduled interview on 23 May, Mr JazziQ grabbed her waist and attempted to kiss her in a lift at YFM’s offices.
Mr JazziQ’s management denies the allegations.
A source told TshisaLIVE he is willing to undergo a lie detector test to prove his innocence.
Mr JazziQ and his team requested CCTV footage from YFM’s station manager, Heseena Cassim, who confirmed no cameras were in the lift.
Mr JazziQ has shared footage of himself, Robot Boii, PR specialist Lwazi Zondo, and Mcobothi before entering the lift with his videographer.
The videographer took a lie detector test that included questions about the alleged incident. All of the questions were answered negatively with “no deception indicated”.
Mcobothi declined to comment when approached by TshisaLIVE.
