During a podcast with L-Tido, Shebeshxt, a singer from Limpopo, called out DJ Maphorisa over their song “Twerka“.
Shebeshxt criticised South African producer DJ Maphorisa for not providing the necessary split sheets for the song they worked on with Xduppy.
He allegedly failed to communicate the release date and Shebeshxt only found out through the internet.
This situation led to a backlash on X, with many users expressing disappointment in DJ Maphorisa and accusing him of unethical practices.
“M*phorisa has been stealing from young musicians but unfortunately this time, he stole from a thug. People are still surprised when Maphorisa scams? Yoh,” one user wrote.
