DJ Black Coffee, real name Nkosinathi Maphumulo, dedicated his life to the Lord recently. This decision comes shortly after the Grammy-awarded DJ survived a plane crash.
Black Coffee revealed in a recent interview with Khaya FM that he was listening to gospel music at the time of the incident.
The South African DJ recently attended a service at Grace Bible Church, where he dedicated his life to God.
The moment came as a surprise to those in the congregation when he responded to an altar call, Zimoja reported.
“People were shocked and of course happy at the same time, because this is not an everyday occurrence. He seemed happy with his decision to take the first step to draw near to God,” said a close source.
“Seeing his life flashing before him must have given him a different perspective and made him take stock of the way he has been living. He has never been the same since the crash.”
