When mourners got stuck in traffic after leaving Vusi MaR5’s funeral on Sunday, many probably thought their day couldn’t get any worse.

But seemingly out of nowhere, a woman wearing almost no clothes at all stepped in to cheer them up.

Wearing only a see-through dress without any underwear, the woman – known only as “The Undertaker” – began directing traffic.

The Undertaker’s antics sparked competition as others joined in to show off to the dancing crowd.

With loud music blaring out of cars, fans dressed in the shortest of dresses danced to “Chomi ke changitse”.

The short dresses soon disappeared and women danced naked on their way to an after tears party at Mabopane Car Wash.

Phindi Maphendola and Nelly Mawaza, two of MaR5’s dancers who are known for wearing skimpy clothes and shaking their bums, were made to feel like nuns as they were outshined.

The Undertaker told Scrolla.Africa that MaR5 would have wanted them to strip even more.

“Everywhere he went, people stripped. His two dancers, Phindi and Nell, always showed their bums — he was not going to be surprised,” she said.

However, the Undertaker said fans went overboard.

“I think some people exposed themselves to abuse. I dance with my bum out but opening legs and showing private parts is a little too much,” she said.

MaR5’s aunt, Esther Mnisi, said they are not responsible for how mourners behaved.

“They respected us and did those things after the funeral. Vusi entertained people and how people dance to his music is not our problem,” she said.

“As a family, we are just glad that they let us proceed with the funeral before showing their asses!”
