It turns out age is not just a number, as Kim Kardashian, 41, has reportedly split with comic Pete Davidson, 28, as she can’t keep up with his jet-set lifestyle.
“Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice,” a source told Page Six.
“But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids,” continued the source, stating the reason for the sudden breakup of the Hollywood stars.
After nine months of dating, Kim was reportedly “exhausted” by the relationship.
The ex-couple met in October last year at the NBC studios where Pete had been part of the ensemble on Saturday Night Live for eight seasons, while Kim was appearing as a guest actress for an Aladdin sketch.
“When we kissed, I was just like ‘Mmm!’ It was a stage kiss, but it was still a little zing,” Kim had said after kissing Pete on Aladdin’s flying carpet, reported Page Six on Friday.
Their relationship began after Kim filed for divorce on 19 February from her marriage with the hip-hop superstar Kanye West.
The divorce is still ongoing, with Kanye refusing to let go of the reality star and mother of his four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, who is only three years old.
The last picture Kim posted of her and Pete together was a selfie of the couple smiling into the camera looking smitten, with the cheeky addition of a tongue out emoji as a caption.
In the meantime, Kim has been endorsing Kanye’s clothing brand Yeezy on her Instagram account, with the last picture being of her and the kids wearing Yeezy “future” shades.
