This weekend will see the final fixtures being played in a Rugby Championship that has been highly controversial and dramatic.
In a tournament plagued by Covid-19 and where rescheduling needs has meant the competition moved entirely to Queensland, Australia, some fans have been left cheering with joy and others fuming with disappointment.
The Springboks did not perform at their best and plenty of questions are being asked about the coaching staff. But it has to be remembered that the Boks have not played since 2019 and, given their difficulties, the team showed heart throughout the tournament.
With South Africa’s only two wins coming against Argentina, the Boks will be hoping to stop the All Blacks from making it six wins from six this Saturday.
Jacques Nienaber and his players, in spite of a dismal performance at the end of the match, may consider themselves unlucky that the All Blacks secured the win in the last minutes of the match with a Jordie Barret penalty.
With the All Blacks already crowned champions, the Springboks take them on at 12 noon on Saturday at the Cbus Super Stadium. Australia will be looking to secure second place in the tournament with a win over Argentina on Saturday at 9am.

The top three sides in the IPL are separated by only two points ahead of the play-offs in just nine days away. The Chennai Super Kings currently lead the way, level on points with the Delhi Capitals both with 16 points.
The top six of the eight teams are competing to go through to the play-offs. With a game in hand and just four points behind, the Sunrisers Hyderabad will be looking to show they have what it takes to make the play-off stages.
Cricket fans will have five matches to watch this weekend, one on Friday and two on both Saturday and Sunday.
