New research conducted in the UK sheds light into Britain’s bedrooms, and the results reveal the shocking impact Covid has had on Brits’ sex lives.
The dating site Ashley Madison carried out surveys across the country, and discovered the following:
- Nearly 80% of married people say that their partner never initiates sex.
- Four in 10 Brits say that they haven’t been intimate with their partner since the beginning of the pandemic.
- The average adult rates their sex life a measly 2.9 out of 10.
- Most shocking of all, a quarter of married couples have not had sex in over 10 years.
A separate survey conducted among both men and women in Britain found that only a tiny minority can name parts of the female anatomy.
The study was primarily conducted to reveal the medical implications of this lack of knowledge. But it doesn’t bode well for their sex lives either!
Hospital patients in waiting rooms were asked if they could identify different parts of the female genitalia, and the results will knock you back.
37% couldn’t point out the clitoris on a diagram, and half of Brits cannot identify the urethra.
Dina El-Hamamsy, a gynaecologist at a UK hospital, conducted the survey because she was worried that her female patients were confused by their medical problems.
Besides the worrying medical implications, you’ve got to fear for the Brits’ sex lives!
